Franki and Franny Lynn quantum-leap through twelve documented cases of time anomaly, lost time, and high strangeness organized by geographic location — from a backyard vortex in rural Missouri to the oldest written lost time story in recorded history on the coast of Japan. Each chapter goes to the verified record first: what is documented, what is corroborated, what is genuinely unknown. Then it goes to the lore layer: what the internet built on top of the evidence, how the story traveled, and what the distance between those two things reveals about the human need to make sense of experiences that refuse to cooperate with the available categories.
